Elnos Group plays a significant role in the installation of HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) converter stations – critical nodes of Europe’s energy infrastructure that enable long-distance, efficient, and stable transmission of electricity between countries and power zones.

Our teams have executed electromechanical works on strategic projects in Germany, Norway, and Montenegro, in cooperation with global technology leaders. Each project required work in demanding conditions, precise coordination, and uncompromising technical standards.

HVDC stations we have worked on include:

• Emden, Germany – DolWin 5: Installed capacity 900 MW, voltage level ±320 kV DC
• Ertsmyra, Norway – NordLink: Installed capacity 1,400 MW, voltage level ±515 kV DC
• Lastva Grbaljska, Montenegro – MONITA: Installed capacity 1,000 MW, voltage level ±500 kV DC
