Our History

From a Local Leader to a European Power Engineering Group

Our heritage dates back to 1945 and Agrovojvodina, one of the major industrial systems of the former Yugoslavia. Over the decades, Elnos Group has undergone significant transformation — adopting new technologies and expanding into international markets.

1945 – 1980
Period of intensive development. Development of Agrovojvodina and the founding of Elnos Novi Sad.
1980 – 2000
Expansion of Elnos Novi Sad’s operations across the territory of former Yugoslavia and Europe. Opening of the Elnos BL branch office in Banja Luka in 1995.
2000 – 2010
Transformation of Elnos BL into a regional leader through projects focused on the modernization of power systems.
2010 – Today
Establishment of the Elnos Group. Internationalization of operations with a strong presence in 18 European markets.

We have delivered landmark projects that set new standards in the energy sector, including the construction of hydropower plants, wind farms, and the modernization of transmission lines and substations.
