Student Internship
As the only regional organizer of student internships in the field of energy, Elnos Group opens its doors to young engineers to experience the reality of large infrastructure projects and participate in some of the most complex energy systems across Europe. The internship is not limited to observation—students receive the opportunity to learn alongside top experts, ask questions, solve real tasks and participate in teams that run actual projects.
Through this program, they gain not only technical and professional skills but also valuable experience in a multidisciplinary environment that includes planning, coordination and cross-sector collaboration. In addition to professional development, students build networks with colleagues and mentors, and many begin their career path at Elnos Group directly through the internship. This initiative is our way of supporting young people, but also investing in the future of the energy sector.
Vocational Training for High School Students
For fourteen consecutive years, we have been organizing vocational training for technical high school students in Banja Luka. The goal of this program is to introduce young people—while still in school—to the reality of production, engineering and energy project work. During the internship, students get familiar with basic tools, materials and operating principles, and they also master their first practical tasks under the supervision of Elnos Group’s expert and dedicated team.
This internship gives them more than knowledge—it helps them gain confidence, work habits and a clearer picture of what a career in energy looks like. Our mentors guide them through the process, answer questions, and encourage them to think, suggest and build self-confidence. For many students, this is the first step toward professional development, and for us, a long-term investment in the workforce that will shape the energy future of the region and Europe.
Training Programs for Fitters
In response to the growing shortage of qualified workers in the energy sector, Elnos Group has developed a special training program for fitters—designed to combine theoretical knowledge with intensive practical work. Participants go through structured training that covers basic technical principles, safety procedures and real field scenarios. During the training, they acquire knowledge about working at heights, using tools and equipment, and learn the essentials of team coordination in real conditions, including work on transmission line towers.
Working with experienced instructors and access to modern resources enables skills to develop quickly and efficiently. In this way, we provide new generations with the competencies needed for this responsible and respected profession. The goal of the program is not only employment—but the development of a stable base for future energy projects, and opening the door to a career for those who want to learn, work and grow with us.
