The project significance

Electricity Transmission System Operator of Macedonia (MEPSO) during 2009 entered the process of modernization of the existing electrical transmission network in the segment of replacement earth wire by OPGW. This project includes transmission lines voltage up to 400 kV, whose total length is about 380 km.

Elnos Group works

Elnos BL realized one of capital projects for MEPSO, replacement of earth wire with OPGW at transmission lines voltage up to 400 kV. Under the contract, we completed disassembly of earth wire and installation of OPGW on transmission lines of a total length of 380 km.

After three years for the same investor, MEPSO; we continued the process of modernization of the transmission system of Macedonia. This time, replacement of earth wire with OPGW was completed on eight transmission lines voltage of 110 kV.
