Students from the “Nikola Tesla” High School of Electrical Engineering in Banja Luka completed their practical training program at our company this week.
The high school students had the opportunity to become familiar with the daily challenges, responsibilities, and opportunities involved in working in modern power engineering.
During the internship, students were introduced to basic information about the company, its mission, values, and development path.
Jelena Đorđić, HR Manager of Elnos Group, presented the company’s history, potential, and mission, while engineers and field technicians shared practical experiences and useful advice with the students.
“These encounters are important – both for the participants and for us. For them, because they can connect the knowledge gained in school with real-world working environments. For us, because we have the chance to build relationships with upcoming generations and showcase our excellent team that turns its expertise into tangible changes,” said Đorđić.
During their field training, the students visited the Banja Luka 9 substation and the Mrčevci solar power plant. At these two sites, they had the chance to see firsthand what a working day looks like for engineers and field workers.
Our engineers made every effort to answer all questions – both those asked and unasked – to help young people make important career decisions that await them soon.
This program is just one of the ways we invest in the development of young people, giving them the opportunity to gain practical knowledge and become part of a new generation of experts.
