The significance of the project
This is one of the largest and most important projects in Serbia. This substation is located on the route of the 400 kV connection of Western Europe with its southern parts and Turkey. This project is of great importance for the southeastern part of Serbia, where it will improve voltage conditions and the possibility for the development of this part of the state.

Elnos Group works
Consortium Siemens Belgrade-Elnos BL Belgrade in September 2013, successfully completed construction work on the substation 400/110 kV Vranje 4 EMS Serbia.
Elnos BL did the main construction, electrical and construction design and performed complete construction works at this substation. Construction works included: construction of roads, command and operational building, the foundations of machine support in 400 kV, the foundation of the Portal to 110 kV, the foundations of machine support in 110 kV, earthing and lightning protection foundation, external lighting, production and installation of steel structures. In addition to the above, we have done the design, installation, adjustment and factory testing cabinets of relay protection and cabinets of own consumption for this power station. Cabinets are manufactured in our production facility in Batajnica.

-We are especially proud for a representative of the investor, the EU Delegation to Serbia Michael Davenport, said that the project of construction of the substation DEU Vranje 4 is the best managed project funded by the FRA in Southeast Europe.

-Area of operation of the substation is 5.5 ha.

-Contract implemented according to FIDIC “Yellow Book”
