Great victory of the teams in Northern Macedonia

After ten months of dedicated work, our teams in North Macedonia have successfully completed the construction of the power elements that will be the “blood stream” of the new Bogoslovec wind farm (36 MW).

This means that within the mentioned deadline, our teams built 4.6 kilometers of 2×110 kV connection transmission line on the route from the 33/110 kV substation Bogoslovec to the existing 110 kV transmission line SS Štip-TS Ovče Polje, and the medium voltage network for connecting the wind turbines to the new substation Theologian.

It is important to emphasize that as part of this project, our teams laid 35 kilometers of MV cables, which will form a large network for powering wind farms and carried out work on the creation of grounding for the foundations of wind turbines.

This project has put the teams in the field under dynamic deadlines and often difficult weather conditions. At the height of the work, the number of people on the field reached up to 35.

“Being part of this project was a big challenge. Personally, I am very proud that we were assigned a very important part of the work within the construction of the Bogoslovec wind farm. The complete project was completed with people employed by the member Elnos Northern Macedonia, who were maximally professional, responsible and dedicated during its implementation. On this occasion, I would like to thank them”, said Martin Spasovski, technical director of Elnos Northern Macedonia.

The Bogoslovec Wind Park is being built on an area of 70 hectares, in a location between the municipalities of Štip and Sv. Nikola. It will have eight wind turbines with an installed power of 4.5 MW and in the future will produce electricity for 20,000 households.

After the Bogdanci wind farm (36.8 MW), Bogoslovec is the second wind farm built by our teams in Northern Macedonia. The Bogoslovec Wind Park will start operating in the middle of next year.
