Smart grids are a priority of energy future

Distributive production at any point in the electricity network today requires a quick response, and its control and use is impossible to do with analog methods. Smart network is time inevitable that comes; it brings the digitization of the network and without it, energy systems will not subsist.
It was pointed out today on the second day of Trebinje Energy Summit – SET 2020, and the panel “Smart grids – modern energy”.
Borko Torbica, vice president of Elnos Group and one of the panelists seized the opportunity to share the experiences of our company from the “smart city” Novi Sad project and announced the trends in the energy future.
“The task of creating sustainable energy conditions I considered as my true calling, and we are especially proud that the Elnos Group was one of the pioneers in the project Smart city in Novi Sad in 2012,” said Torbica.
He also noted the importance of using digital transformation, the realization of projects of smart cities, what kind of changes are waiting for us in the trend towards the formation of infrastructure for e-mobility.
The participants of the panel “smart grid – a modern energy” were the representatives of the Croatian transmission system operator (HOPS) and company “Siemens”, “Koncar”, Dwelt, and projects SINCRO.GRID ELES from Slovenia and 3Smart project EPHZHB.
